Case:
3 piece mahagoni case. Brass cardanic suspension of the clock drum. Original transport case. Below the glas window we find a thermometer (Reaumur).
Dial:
silvered dial with black Roman numerals in excellent condition. Two sub-dials for the seconds at VI o'clock position and the 56 hour up-and-down-indicator below the "XII".
Description:
Carl Ranch had his shop0 in 26 Ostergade in Copenhagen. He was chronometer maker to the Royal Navy and won medals in Paris 1855, 1876, 1878 and in London in 1862 and in Stockholm in 1866.
